TOULOUSE OR NOTTOULOUSE, QUEENS PARK STRANGERS & SK DONS – WANSTEAD SEASON REVIEW

We have new CHAMPIONS in both divisions after another brilliant season at the sensational Eton Manor 4G in Wanstead!

Congratulations to the new Premiership Champions: TOULOUSE OR NOTTOULOUSE!
Chris DURCAN has set up a consistent good group of lads who play for the badge and have got stronger with every season, and this season they looked to stop the relentless NO ATTACK who had won it the previous 2 seasons in a row! No easy feat but they did it on the final day of the season as they faced off against each other in a winner takes all match, love an end to the season like this!
TOULOUSE held strong as they got a narrow 1-0 win to create scenes and memories which last a lifetime!
Congratulations to all the TOULOUSE lads: Chris DURCAN, Dylan FRIDAY, Sufyan MUKHTAR, Gabriel GEORGIOU, Aron FONTENELLE, Cam MUTALE, Agostinho DE SOUSA JUNIOR, Kafui AKPOKAVI, Alif GRIMM, Rahul KALRA & MOHAMMED

Commiserations to Owen JACOBS NO ATTACK who finished runners up this time round but are looking forward to this new added competition!

In the Championship and Congratulations to Dilan GJECAJ’s QUEENS PARK STRANGERS who in their second season shocked the world of football at Eton Manor as they went from finishing bottom in their first season to winning it in their second in true fairy tale stuff, reminiscent of Leicester Citys Premiership win! These lads won the title a point ahead of Saleem KIDIYA’s SK DONS side who had a late title push but ended up being enough for promotion but just short of the silverware

Well done the Strangers: Dilan GJECAJ, Aidan EDWARDS, Theo COURIE, Harry LEA ODDY, Aaron CAMBELL, Charles SCANLON, Terry PANAYIOTIS, Teddy BEAVIS, Ronan READING & Marjan GJECAJ

Kaine THOMPSON’s FAKE MADRID team finished in third after a strong start they fell away a bit and ended up 5 points outside the promotion places
Tim PASSEY’s PASSEYAGGRESSIVE finished in 4th, but these lads when they have a full side are dangerous and will be looking to improve this time round and go a few better to get another taste of the top flight!
Oscar OLMEDILLAS lads GEORGES FINEST were in 5th as they had a mixed season, we are all wishing Oscar WICKS a speedy recovery as well!
MSR had a tough first season as it takes time to get up to speed sometimes when joining but Shafiq ABIDIN’s family team are a great group of lads and I’m sure they will continue to improve and more importantly enjoy the run out each week

Thanks to all involved again, a superb season and lets make the next one just as good!
