CONTE BALL & YOU CAN’T HANDLE THE HUTH – LOUGHTON THURSDAYS

Unbelievable scenes in the Prem Jeff!
CONTE BALL needed the win to secure their first Premiership title at Loughton Thursdays but ended up slipping up, meaning a Pink Panthers win would see them take the title once again!
However Starter Pack put in an unreal performance beating them which meant CONTE banked their first ever title after a solid season in which they played some super football!

A huge congratulations to all the CONTE BALL skipper Krystian FERNANDEZ and his team: Daniel FERNANDEZ, Charlie SMITH, Andrew DAVIS, Billy DAVIS, Zaq RAHIM, Harry BEST, Matt NEIGHBOUR, Zak LEITCH and Carl PARSONS
Special mention to Dan ACORNS as well whos been out injured for most of the season but was still an integral part of the squad

In the Championship and YOU CAN’T HANDLE THE HUTH were dominant as they won the title on their first attempt after relegation

A massive well done to all the HUTH lads, skipper Finn PICKERING and team: Ben NOONAN, Ollie NOONAN, Alfie MOBEY, Wiktor CHRAMIEC, Nicolas CHRAMIEC and Peter MOLES

CHAMPIONS LEAGUE 23

So finally, after years of requests, we held the first ever TFM Champions League!
Representatives from Loughton Mondays, Tuesdays & Thursdays, Wanstead Mondays and Waltham Abbey Thursdays were there

A massive well done to all involved who helped make it a great day!

We had 11 teams in total enter:
Loughton Mondays: YK
Loughton Tuesdays: Starter Pack & EYFC
Loughton Thursdays: Pink Panthers, Conte Ball, The Pandas & Mo Touched Us
Wanstead Mondays: No Attack & Toulouse orNotToulouse
Waltham Abbey Thursdays: Daaa Barry & Todos Los Ballers

Two groups, one with 5, one with 6.
Top two from each group go go the Semis

The semi finals were YK v No Attack and Todos Los Ballers v Pink Panthers
No Attack won with a fine performance while the other game ended 0-0 going to pens, which Pink Panthers won 3-2

So the final was huge, two serial winners in Pink Panthers v No Attack!
Both teams were superb in an end to end game, the score tied at 1-1 it looked to be going all the way to Pens, but Pink Panthers burst away twice on the counter scoring both times to secure the 3-1 win and the first ever Champions League title!

Congratulations to the Pink Panther lads who keep adding to their TFM legacy!

Well done to all teams involved once again

1st: PINK PANTHERS
2nd: NO ATTACK
3rd: TODOS LOS BALLERS

STARTER PACK, YULE UNITED & DP DONS – LOUGHTON TUESDAYS SEASON REVIEW

What a season it was at Loughton Tuesdays as we had new Champions in both divisions!

First up the Premiership and STARTER PACK have been getting stronger every season and getting more and more consistent!
After coming close over the last few seasons they finally got it over the line this time round as they went into the last game of the season in a face off against TEDDY FC who are serial league winners and were looking to retain their title once more.
TEDDY needed a win to nick top spot, while STARTER PACK only needed a draw to take the title, in the end it was a classic match in which STARTER PACK won 2-1 in an end to end game of football and finally got their place in TFM History! Congratulations to STACKO and all the Starter Pack lads

In the Championship and debutants YULE UNITED & DP DONS both had superb seasons as they went toe to toe for the title! In fact they were so good they ended up 7 points clear of third and 14 clear of 4th and 5th!

These lads were dominant and ALEX HANLON almost led his side to the title but in the end DP DONS finished runners up 2 points behind JAMES JACKSON’s YULE UNITED side
Both teams deserve an enormous amount of credit after such a fantastic season as they both finished on +30GD as well as both scoring over 40 goals! They even drew 1-1 on match day 9!

They were barely separated but huge congratulations to the winners YULE UNITED: James JACKSON, Ryan BURKIN, Jamie FULLER, Toby HAWES, Hugh JONES, Tom JORDAN, Jack LODGE, Josh MILLS, Jake RUDD & Dan ERRINGTON

TOULOUSE OR NOTTOULOUSE, QUEENS PARK STRANGERS & SK DONS – WANSTEAD SEASON REVIEW

We have new CHAMPIONS in both divisions after another brilliant season at the sensational Eton Manor 4G in Wanstead!

Congratulations to the new Premiership Champions: TOULOUSE OR NOTTOULOUSE!
Chris DURCAN has set up a consistent good group of lads who play for the badge and have got stronger with every season, and this season they looked to stop the relentless NO ATTACK who had won it the previous 2 seasons in a row! No easy feat but they did it on the final day of the season as they faced off against each other in a winner takes all match, love an end to the season like this!
TOULOUSE held strong as they got a narrow 1-0 win to create scenes and memories which last a lifetime!
Congratulations to all the TOULOUSE lads: Chris DURCAN, Dylan FRIDAY, Sufyan MUKHTAR, Gabriel GEORGIOU, Aron FONTENELLE, Cam MUTALE, Agostinho DE SOUSA JUNIOR, Kafui AKPOKAVI, Alif GRIMM, Rahul KALRA & MOHAMMED

Commiserations to Owen JACOBS NO ATTACK who finished runners up this time round but are looking forward to this new added competition!

In the Championship and Congratulations to Dilan GJECAJ’s QUEENS PARK STRANGERS who in their second season shocked the world of football at Eton Manor as they went from finishing bottom in their first season to winning it in their second in true fairy tale stuff, reminiscent of Leicester Citys Premiership win! These lads won the title a point ahead of Saleem KIDIYA’s SK DONS side who had a late title push but ended up being enough for promotion but just short of the silverware

Well done the Strangers: Dilan GJECAJ, Aidan EDWARDS, Theo COURIE, Harry LEA ODDY, Aaron CAMBELL, Charles SCANLON, Terry PANAYIOTIS, Teddy BEAVIS, Ronan READING & Marjan GJECAJ

Kaine THOMPSON’s FAKE MADRID team finished in third after a strong start they fell away a bit and ended up 5 points outside the promotion places
Tim PASSEY’s PASSEYAGGRESSIVE finished in 4th, but these lads when they have a full side are dangerous and will be looking to improve this time round and go a few better to get another taste of the top flight!
Oscar OLMEDILLAS lads GEORGES FINEST were in 5th as they had a mixed season, we are all wishing Oscar WICKS a speedy recovery as well!
MSR had a tough first season as it takes time to get up to speed sometimes when joining but Shafiq ABIDIN’s family team are a great group of lads and I’m sure they will continue to improve and more importantly enjoy the run out each week

Thanks to all involved again, a superb season and lets make the next one just as good!

YK & AINT A CHRIS TING – LOUGHTON MONDAYS SEASON REVIEW

Another season of top quality strong competitive divisions, big games every week as we ended up with two new champions!

First up and a huge congratulations to YK!
These lads have been hunting this since moving over to Mondays, Skipper Jamie PARMAN has been dreaming of this moment and never gave up hope, and this time they finally got their hands on the big one, the hardest one of all to win as they became only the 7th team in the leagues long history to win it, but they made it hard work at the end as they hit a blip but managed to get it over the line with victory on the final day to win it by 2 points with a healthy +29GD, total points 29
Well done to all the YK lads: Jamie PARMAN, Ben AVERY, Jaspar CARR, Liam FOSTER, George CLARKE, Tommie HOBAN, Joffe BRADLEY, Sam AYLOTT & Matt KOCZAN

In second place was Sam BARRETT’s THEYDON GREEN 6s as they had a much better season and finished strongly only 2 points behind YK with a strong GD of +23, total points 27.

Just behind them in third by a point was Mark WRIGHT’s 2-time winners JE3 on 26 points who also finished strongly while Matt STRATTON’s ESSEX ELITE were in fourth on 22 points as they led earlier on in the season but a string of results against them ultimately cost them the big one

Dan PRIME’s ALL TALK finished in fifth on 18 points, the lads are getting stronger every season and will look to build on this, while Max HOCKLEY’s JEWISH JOHNS ARMY finished just above the drop zone on 14 points as they started to get some better results in the latter half of the season as they get used to the speed of the big time

In the Championship and AINT A CHRIS TING stormed the division only slowing down towards the end as they ended up finishing level on points at the top taking it on goal difference, as at one point they looked like they could do the season unbeaten but consistency ended up slowing them down, but a huge achievement for the lads as they get promoted to the Prem for the first time in their history, Congratulations to Jack CURTIS, Aston WEAVER, Aston MOORE, Callum OSBORNE, Lenny HUNT, Josh TRUMAN, James YEOMAN, Luke HARRIS, Billy BECKETT & Harry CAIN

BAYER NEVERLOSEN put in a superb effort as they finished in second only due to being -9 goals behind the winners, a bitter pill to swallow but Sam BIGGS lads can be proud of an unbelievable season which sees them promoted to the big time for the first time in their history as they look to have a go at the next challenge!
In third and Jake DANIELs KEPAMINE FC side finished with the best GD of +16 5 points outside the top two, on joint points was Niall COUGHLAN’s JEWVENTUS who have been superb since joining as they joined midway through so can be proud of their record since joining

In 5th two points behind was James DEANEY’s GET HAMMERED side who started off well but slipped away, when these boys have a full side they are a match for most teams.

Josh WINTLE’s 3 WINGS FOR A POUND in 6th as they look to build on this now after an influx of January transfer window signings!

Sad news as long term side HAVENT GOT A KALOU decided to hang the boots up after being an ever present since the league formed, originally started by Jack EWING which was then taken over by Callum CAIRNEY its never nice to lose a well organised and good set of lads, they had one season in the Prem but have been flirting with promotion regularly but have just seen numbers dropping as some go travelling, injuries, moving out the area and mrs thumbs coming down meant they had little choice but to give early notice that they would be calling it a day.

Thanks to all involved again who have made it another brilliant season

A bit of sad news is that long time 6 a siders VALLEY PARK FC folded, VALLEY PARK have been in the leagues since pretty much the start of TFM having joined shortly after the first Chigwell league formed over 10 years ago!
We are sad to see them have to stop but a lack of players, retirements and injuries meant the writing has been on the wall for the past few seasons and well done to Pete TURNER who has worked tirelessly to make his side a successful one over the years winning multiple league titles along the way!
