The award this week at Waltham Abbey Thursdays goes to new boys – Willows.
They put in an unbelievable team showing tonight, and although one individual shone for Willows, the finishing was lethal tonight.
Logan SIMMONDS was the man of the match as he smashed in a hat trick and was a constant menace with his pace, footwork and finishing. Quality performance from him.
Harry BARRETT, Vinnie BOYCE, George JOHNSON & Ethan MILLER all got one each as well to complete the scoring as this 7-0 win shows how much of a quality team performance this one was.
Ryan WHITEHEAD in goal was superb, making some outstanding saves, keeping a clean sheet. But in particular his distribution tonight was on point as he got two assists from some unreal goal kicks!

Also a big congratulations and mention has to go to PieFace Argyle’s keeper – Matt HOLLAND who scored an unbelievable goal tonight, as he hit it long from his own box, it bounced awkwardly in front of his opposition keepers box, which then lopped over his opposite number and dropped into the net to score one of the best goals we have seen at the Abbey!
