Another superb season in which the title decider came down to the last game in the Premiership.
Bayer Neverlosen were the dark horses having been promoted as runners up in the Championship the season before they settled in quickly building up a great run of results which saw them go head to head with reigning Premiership Champions YK. Bayer had to win to take the title while YK had the luxury of a draw being enough.
In the end a great effort from Bayer but YK became two time Premiership Champions winning consecutive titles winning the game 1-0 courtosy of the skipper – Jamie PARMAN smashing in the only goal as he cut inside from the left before driving home, no keeper would be stopping that!
Talking about keepers and James REFALO was in inspiring form as he saved a pen and made some massive saves throughout to keep a clean sheet! Big game player!
Congratulations to the Premiership Champions YK who were led by gaffer Ben AVERY who is out injured currently. Best of luck with the operation mate and hope to see you back soon
Congrats again: Jamie PARMAN, James REFALO, Steve CARTER, Natey KASHKET, Laurence SHERINGHAM, Flynn PREVOST, Tom McDONNELL, Josh DOBIAS, Jake AVERY & Sam AYLOTT
In the Championship and Pink Panthers in their first season ripped the Championship apart, becoming the second team in a row to go unbeaten winning the title with 10 wins in 10 games.
Remarkable achievement and the Panthers will certainly be challenging in the Premiership with the kind of performances they have shown this season.
They saw the season out in style tonight, completing their invincible season winning 3-1 with skipper Luke DIMOND with the golden boot scoring a hat trick to seal the points! The team tonight were: Golden Luke Dimond, Sean the wall O’Regan, Cane Sully, George Stiff Miller, Liam Daly, Jack Sniffers, Bayley in goal, Sam May and plain Will Hudson
Congratulations to the Championship Winners, PINK PANTHERS: Luke DIMOND, Sean O’REGAN, Cane SULLIVAN, George MILLER, Liam DALY, Jack SMITH, Bayley CLARKE, Sam MAY-PARROT & William HUDSON
Also a massive congrats to Baby Pandas FC who in their first season took the runners up spot getting promoted in their first season too.
The Premiership is going to be very entertaining with these two teams now also in it that’s for sure!
Well done to everyone who participated making it a great season
