QUARANTINE BALL & PASSEYAGGRESSIVE – WANSTEAD MONDAYS SEASON REVIEW

Always such a good season at WANSTEAD MONDAYS as it is across the leagues!
And for the 3rd season in a row we have new Premiership Winners!
El Capitan, Daniel IYAMU has grafted hard for this one and as he rebuild his team he finally started getting some consistency as they put in some strong performances just losing the once this season!
Massive congratulations to all the QUARANTINE BALL lads: Daniel IYAMU, Frank WHITCHER, Ben SILVA, Owen ARBUCKLE, Junior AKINTUNDE, Ade OLAGBEGI, Max WENZEL, Danny ACQUAYE and Patrick LADBURY

In the Championship and PASSEYAGGRESSIVE obliterated the division early one and won promotion and the title some weeks ago now becoming the fastest team ever at Wanstead to win the Championship title after 7 games in.

What’s even more remarkable about this is that for the past few seasons they have been very passive, finishing 4th most seasons but they started this one on fire and kept it going until the job was done!
5 clean sheets in 10 games is some achievement and they finished the season on +24GD and 24 points, 5 clear at the top as they claimed the second Championship title in their history!

Massive well done to all the PASSEYAGGRESSIVE lads: Tim “The Voice” PASSEY (The Skipper),
BILLY “He fears no one”
BIG G “he’s little you know”
FRED HILL “Takes no prisoners”
JOEL “The jewel in the crown”
KYRON “The Killer”
SAM “Super Skipper (when available)”
ROSS “Makin’ it happen”
TOBY “Solid as a rock”
WILL “The Devil”

Finishing runners up in what was only half a season for them having joined later was 30P LEE FC!
Elliott PEARCE has a strong side there who showed what they can do as they beat PASSEY on the final day of the season 6-1 to show their credentials!
In third place was GEORGE’s FINEST who also had a season to remember as they also move up to the big time as agreed to replace the departing Spartan

Hiran SOLANKI’s HOTEL THIAGO when they have their full side out are dangerous, Issa SAMAROU’s WANSTEAD TOWN are new to the league so will be looking forward to the start of the new season next week while Reagan LINDSAY’s WECRAVEDAVE have shown how good they can be when they have their full side out at times this season so will be looking forward to the restart!
