Team of the Week

Dynamo FC – WALTHAM ABBEY THURSDAYS

We have new Premiership Champions at Waltham Abbey Thursdays!

At their first attempt these lads are still unbeaten since joining!

Having came in a few games in and then going on to win the Championship last season, they have continued that form into the Prem and played some lovely football.

This week they had a big test against a strong side, and after going 1 down, came back to win 3-1 and secure the title.

Nick BRIGGS who bagged a superb solo goal, Yac CINO and Reiss CHAPMAN got the goals, while Danny PARCELL made some quality saves.

Unreal performance from all the lads, well played to Aaron BREWER, Tommy SELMAN, Luke AMBRIDGE & Ben SMITH who all put a superb shift in as the Dynamo become the first side at the Abbey to win back to back titles, while remaining unbeaten!

Can they go the complete the season unbeaten? And can they retain the title again in the new season?!

TEDDY FC, GERRY HAT-TRICKS & REPTON PARK FC – TUESDAY LOUGHTON REVIEW

What an end to the season it was and once again it didn’t disappoint, we had a Premiership title to decide, which could of went 4 ways! A Championship title and a relegation dogfight!

Starting off with the big one! The Premiership title!

After Jewish Johns Army beat Club Sandwich in the first game in a superb 3-1 win, they went top above Teddy on the night, and with Melchester beating already relegated Breadstick it meant that Cosa Nostra were relegated, but Teddy had to win still to take the title!

Cosa Nostra gave them a tough game, with Teddy FC eventually coming out 7-4 winners and taking their first ever Premiership title! At one point these boys were flirting with relegation, next minute they have nicked the title in the final two games going from 4th to 1st! Amazing achievement and well done to all the Teddy FC lads: Dan PRIME, Jamie PRIME, Will GRAVETTE, Harry CARTER, James REFALO, Harry FRANCIS, Sidney J & Warren GRAVETTE

In the Championship and Gerry Hat-Tricks & Repton Park were both joint top with Gerry leading on GD.

Repton Park had to win in the first game of the night against a strong Debden side, however it was never going to be easy, and Debden won 5-2 on the night with a superb performance from the lads and in particular Jake TAYLOR.

This result meant Repton are promoted but in second place, and Gerry Hat-Tricks get promoted as Champions for the first time after an unbelievable season in which they won 9 and only lost one, with +45 GD and scoring 64 goals in the process!

Well done to all the Gerry Hat-Tricks lads: Andy AVERKIOU, Nick AVERKIOU, Rob HARVEY, Phil HARVEY, Mike GODDARD, Steve TALBOT, Louis HERBERT, Ed JOHNSTONE, Nick CARROLL & Lloyd GULLEFER

Looking forward to what looks like it will be another good season starting next Tuesday!

Well played to all the teams who contributed

Team of the Week

TEXAS OLDHAM – LOUGHTON MONDAYS

Unbelievable stuff tonight from the Texans who had two Jordan’s in particular running the show!

Tom CLAPHAM, Ollie KEMP and ANDY at the back were rock solid, while Will WEIGHTMAN & Matt KOCZAN put in a quality shift each.

But the stars of the show were Jordan STACK who smashed home a hatty with some superb strikes, but the man of the match without doubt goes to Jordan GRACE in goal who not only saved a pen, but got all the assists with some quality long balls converted equally impressively by STACK!

The Oldham lads will now be going into the new season in a few weeks with hopes of challenging for promotion based on this evidence

Team of the Week

A Fiver Short – DEBDEN MONDAYS

The award this week at Debden Mondays goes to A Fiver Short who were in magnificent form as they won in an emphatic 7-1 win tonight.

These lads will be hoping they can continue this form and try to win back the title

Team of the Week

FC SILKALONA – LOUGHTON MONDAYS

The award this week at Loughton Mondays goes to FC SILKALONA in the biggest game of the night!

This one was a huge game, winner stays up, loser gets relegated! Dont get much bigger than this.

Two good sides, both too good to go down really, but this Monday Prem is a good standard of football so there could only be one winner tonight!

Raphi BERMAN – The Gaffer, had his side set up on point, no messing around from the Silkmen tonight as they knew they had a job to do.

Tyler KIRBY must of smashed down his weetabix before this one as he different class, smashing home 5 of his teams goals with some worldy strikes!

Billy HAPPE got the other two, while putting in a good shift as did the rest of the lads, while Alfie FLEET in goal also stepped up to the plate with some class saves which included a lovely little pen save.

But as mentioned before the Man of the match shout goes to KIRBY who’s form in front of goal was the major difference and helped keep them in the division. Expecting some big things from these boys in the new season!

Well played to all the lads, as they all put in a shift and played their part tonight

Team of the Week

AC Next Gen – WALTHAM ABBEY THURSDAYS

The award at Waltham Abbey goes to AC NEXT GEN who continued their impressive form with another big result here tonight.

Jamie PRIME scored with an absolute belter, while Reggie HUBBARD & Will COAKLEY both got on the scoresheet with some lovely finishes.

Luca BERGONZI showed his class with some superb link up play and kept his side ticking throughout

This win kept their 100% record in tact making it 6 wins out of 6! Some impressive form, can anyone stop them?!

Team of the Week

FC BREADSTICK – LOUGHTON TUESDAYS

The battle of the Bread didn’t disappoint in an unreal performance tonight from the Breadstick as they turned over the league leaders in a huge upset on the night.

Club Sandwich the league leaders on paper should of had this in the bag as FC Breadstick have looked stale and out of date this season.

However tonight they looked fresh and straight out the oven, Skipper James REVELL led the way smashing home a hat trick along with Dan RULE who also bagged a hatty.

Jack HUDGELL scored two, one of which he ran the length of the pitch taking on two players in the process before slotting home.

But the real stand out this week had to go to Danny GOUGH who ran the show, pulled the strings, buttered the bread etc, as he got 5 assists, pivoting like a prime Pirlo!

Team of the Week

JOGA BONITO – LOUGHTON THURSDAYS

The award at Loughton Thursdays goes to Joga Bonito who were in lethal form this week, as well as one player breaking the most goals in a game record!

Gaffer Jake CUTHBERT set his side up perfectly as his gameplan was executed with precision

George BREEN smashed in two goals, while Matt BAXTER got one with Steve CARTER in goal making some good saves throughout.

Luke THOMAS-CORRIDON was pulling the strings with some lovely assists, as was BAXTER & BREEN, but the stand out this week and man of the match goes to Bobby BREEN who was absolutely unplayable tonight while breaking a TFM record as he scored 9 goals for Joga!

That’s no easy record to break and has stood for some time so massive congratulations to Bobby BREEN!
