Another exciting season at Wanstead Mondays as both title deciders went down to the last game of the season!

In the Premiership and the reigning Championship Champs, Real Brooksis were in the driving seat going into the final game after an impressive first season in the Prem.

But they came up against a much improved and bang in form Bolted Wanderers side!

Bolted continued their fine form with another huge result meaning Ball Of Duty claimed their second title win in a row!

SEASON REVIEW – DEBDEN MONDAYS

What another cracking season at DEBDEN MONDAYS as the title was separated between the top 3 teams by 3 points!

In the end it came down to the last game of the season, AFC Cardinals had to win to take the title, Valley Park had to beat Cardinals to stand any chance of potentially grabbing the title, and VAFC just had to win and hope other results went their way in order to claim their second title in a row!

Valley Park broke Cardinal hearts winning the game to put them into 1st, and it went down to VAFC who just had to win to nick the title…

SEASON REVIEW – LOUGHTON THURSDAYS

Another superb season on Thursdays at Loughton which ended on one of the best games of football!

PINK PANTHERS had set out on a mission, having won the Championship in their first season they were looking to win back to back titles immediately, and after losing the first two games due to holiday fill ins they started up against it!

After some fine form they went into the season finale against YK, league leaders and reigning champs.

YK looked set to bag a second title in a row as a win here made sure they would wrap it up

YK started off strong and in a great game of football which was end to end at times, they led 2-1 with 4 minutes to play and Panthers at this point looked miles away! But they dug in deep and brought it back to 2-2 with about a minute on the clock, at this point this result meant BAYER NEVERLOSEN could benefit by winning their game they could take the title home for the first time!

But then out of nothing PANTHERS worked an opening and slammed the ball home to send the lads into hysterics to claim their first Premiership title and back to back titles!

What a superb season and congratulations to the new Premiership Thursday Champions – PINK PANTHERS

Squad: Luke DIMOND, Cane SULLIVAN, Sean O’REGAN, Bayley CLARKE, Jack SMITH, Ben SMITH, Will HUDSON, Liam DALEY, George MILLER & Sam MAY-PARROT

Charlton Non-Athletic – LOUGHTON MONDAYS

The award at Loughton Mondays this week goes to Charlton Non-Athletic who have picked up some recent form, winning their past 3 games!

Their latest being an emphatic one against the in form leaders

DYLAN BRUNS didnt feel like sharing the scoresheet this week as he shined scoring all three goals!

Skipper JOE REYNOLDS smashed home two while Cameron COOTE got one, both getting assists also and should be looking for a career with the Royal Mail… First class deliveries from these boys!

A special mention to JAMES REFALO who pulled off a huge first half penalty save, keeping Charlton in the game early doors, massive for momentum.

Finally, JOSH BEECHAM & JAMIE ODOKI were rock solid at the back throughout and were unlucky not to keep a clean sheet in this one.

From a side that looked like the whipping boys of the league, to potential league title contenders!

There’s a long way to go but you cant fault the effort from these boys, turning their season around

WANSTEAD MONDAYS – SEASON REVIEW

What a debut season it was at Wanstead Mondays! Some unbelievable games of football, all played in the right way with both the Premiership & Championship titles going down to the last game of the season and would you believe it, both 1st and 2nd ended up facing off in both divisions with the winner taking the title!

Couldnt write this stuff!

In the Premiership and Old Esthameians were in the driving seat going into it, if they could get at least a draw they would take the title after a very consistent season.

However they were against a determined Ball of Duty side who had the title in their sights and put in a superb performance ensuring the first ever Premiership title went to them. Malvin SAVAGE, SHAQ, GIO & JORDAN got the all important goals while KELVIN in goal made some great saves.

Congratulations once again to all the Ball of Duty lads: ANTONY, DIJAUN, JEROME, MALVIN, SHAQ, DAWID, MADZ & KELVIN

In the Championship and it was Todga United v Real Brooksis. Both sides have been excellent all season but in this game Real Brooksis really went up the gears as they took the title with a superb performance after goals from JIMMY, MAL & a brace from AMON

SAMSON in goal was heroic, while JIMMY got the opening goal while AMON got the equaliser, winner and an assist as the stand out players on the night.

Congratulations to all the Real Brooksis lads: Adam POLAND, SAMSON, CIARAN, JIMMY, AMON, MAL, REMA, OLLIE, ASTON & RENAYLE

Massive thanks to all teams who took part and made it a superb first season.

Looking forward to the new one to see who will take that Premiership & Championship title!

Season review – Tuesdays Loughton

Another superb battle for the Prem title with a 4 way relegation dogfight which ended up coming down to the last week of the season!

Jewish Johns Army only had to win tonight to practically wrap up the title and they duly delivered putting in a top performance with an emphatic 7-1 win to take their 4th title in 5 seasons (including one championship title) which meant Club Sandwich who were on game after couldn’t win the title unless a win via a ridiculous score line, in the end Mickey Broughtons ballers put an end to any hopes totally with another impressive performance and win as they will be looking to take the title next season.

Congratulations to: Max HOCKLEY, Logan SIMMONDS, Frankie BULLOCK, Harry OLIVER, Ellis SIMMONDS, Lewis SCARFE, Jack GOODCHILD, Nick NORMAN & Josh HARRIS

In the Championship and drum roll please as we give a massive congratulations to the invincible FC Breadstick who take their first ever title!

Not sure how with such a talented squad but this season they have put everyone on the breadknife as they smashed the salad out of the division!

With these boys now in the Prem once again its going to be a tight division next season for sure

Congratulations to: Danny GOUGH, Tom ELLIOTT, Mitch THOMPSON, Jono CROWDER, Jack HUDGELL, James REVELL, Karl KNEBEL & Tom HOADLEY
