Callum Brazier (Lost Men)

Callum BRAZIER takes the accolade this week as he was superb in his sides win.

His defending, tracking back and attacking movement was on point not to mention he scored all his sides goals tonight with a hat trick!

For the neutral it was a great game to watch, TG didn’t put in a bad performance at all tonight which shows just how well Pop City played.

Danny MARTIN & Adam HOOPER got a brace each, Jack ROBERTSON & Josh TAYLOR helped link up play excellently and Oli JONES-CHAPMAN was solid as usual at the back while Nick MASSA as stand in keeper made some good saves.

Team of the Week

John

This season the Championship was as exciting as always at TFM, with any three teams chasing the two promotion spots as well as Championship!

JOHN vs Valley Park was massive, both sides occupied the top two so this was a straight shoot out for the title and promotion place.

The game did not disappoint, excellently spirited between both sides and extremely competitive, it looked like Valley would be taking it after going 1-0 up and looking like they would stay that way as they were set up well and hitting on the counter attack very effectively.

However Daniel BORDMAN smashed home an equaliser for JOHN, but with a draw not being enough to take the title JOHN kept going and battling before nicking all three points with Zac LETCH scoring the winning goal with an excellent strike into the top left corner which took the title and promotion, and with Buckhurst Hill winning this meant Valley finished third and missed out on promotion.

Unlucky for Valley who battled well all season but once again it was a fantastic season in the Championship with up to 4 teams still in the title hunt only a week ago!

Well done to JOHN in returning to the top flight at the first attempt.

Skipper Michael DEVEREUX, Zac LETCH, Luke PETRIE, Gio CATTINI, Dave EAYRES, Sean BONNER & Lewis WEBB.

Also well done to Buckhurst Hill who finished the season with a hard fought 3-1 in and grabbed promotion back to the top flight.

Last but not least Lost Men who took the title for a second season in a row.

Well done to Macaulay FELTHAM, Dan KENT, Callum BRAZIER, Joe HINDMARSH, Joe MASSINGHAM, Sonny BALDWIN, Jamie “Szecseny” RAYMOND, Ciaron FOSTER, Mike DIEBELIUS, Dan KELNER, Sam GOODING, Ryan FRANKLIN & Tony AKBARI
