TEAM OF THE WEEK

Team of the Week

FC MING

The award on Chigwells return goes to FC MING on their return back after a 3 month exit.

This was a great game of football and with both sides being strong it was a quality game for the neutral.

Danny MARTIN broke the deadlock with a sweet finesse finish into the top right, while Adam HOOPER scored with a drilled shot into the bottom left corner later in the game to seal it.

Chris WALLING, Oli JONES-CHAPMAN and Peter TURNER were superb throughout.

An impressive return from the ming!

Team of the Week

Real Deal

Real Deal after a disappointing result last week looked back to their best this week as they produced an excellent performance against a depleted BGF side – Hope that the BGF lads who couldn’t make it are OK.

BGF had 5 players and against this strong Real side it was always going to be difficult.

Liam FOSTER was the star man as he banged home a hat trick, one of which was scored from their corner flag!
As BGF were on the hunt to get a goal back they threw everyone forward including the keeper on a last minute corner, FOSTER picked up the ball and drilled it to the opposite goal, screamer!

The whole team were terrific tonight, Sam SOLLOSI got two, Keaton MOORE and skipper Charlie ROBBINS also scored.

Team of the Week

Taku (3 Wings) & Will Cowell (Mr Blobby FC)

First shouts at Loughton go to two individuals who scored with a couple of absolute beauty’s.

Will COWELL for Blobby hit a superb 20 yard curled strike for his side while TAKU scored from 25 yards with a strike which looked to be sailing over but suddenly dipped last minute, and with the keeper only a yard or so off his line caught him off guard and nestled into the top corner.

Couldn’t of hit that one any better, and rare to see two goals like this in the same game of football!

Team of the Week

IG10 (Trevor Barclay)

The award this week goes to IG10 and in particular Trevor BARCLAY.

IG10 started the season with a good win and with the goalscorers having a combined age of 88 it just goes to show what a big of experience can do.
Trevor BARCLAY banged in a hat trick and was superb throughout, with great link up play and some great tackles as always he was the danger man tonight.

An excellent performance in which Azdean KAABECHE scored two, ASH got one and Reiss JACOBS on his first game back in 2 months scored with his first touch of the ball!

Joey GENT was between the sticks today and made some vital saves at times but a very impressive display from The Wheelers to keep them in the promotion shout
