Team of the Week

Oh East London

Another week of superb games at Loughton but the new boys “Oh East London” take the award this week as they are starting to find their feet and in a physical encounter against a strong BGF United side it was never going to be easy!

Aaron MCLEAN broke the deadlock for East London with a great strike after some neat footwork to make it 1-0 and was instrumental all night, at this point both sides were playing some terrific football and had some superb saves from Steve AYTON to thank for holding onto the slender advantage, but with BGF having to throw everyone forward for one last attack the ball fell to the ever dangerous skipper, Mark WRIGHT who hit a long range shot to put the game to bed with his side winning 2-0.

AYTON keeping a clean sheet, which is no easy feat, especially against opponents of this calibre!
Obviously the rest of the lads were superb, including the two goalscorers WRIGHT & MCLEAN.
Well done to John ELMES who was solid at the back and can take some credit for that clean sheet too.
Chris STOWE, Dan FISHER & JUDGIE were all immense tonight in a proper team performance

Excited to see what this team can achieve

Team of the Week

Tekkers Slovakia

The second shout at Loughton goes to Tekkers Slovakia

A friendly rivalry this week between Tekkers and The Wheelers.

Every player from The Tekkers added to the score sheet including the goalkeeper and man of the match on the night Joe MEAD.

A class performance from the whole squad, James PEAGRAM, Archie HAMMOND, Alex NICOL, Charlie PEGRUM, Joe LANE and Jonah GREGORY.

Team of the Week

FC MING

The award at Chigwell goes to FC Ming who once again showed how lethal they are when they get their free flowing attacking football going.

Chris WALLING and Adam HOOPER smashed home a hat trick each tonight, with Josh TAYLOR getting the other in a 7-2 win.

Danny MARTIN was as energetic as always and was unlucky not to get a goal himself, Oli JONES-CHAPMAN was solid at the back winning some good tackles.
Gio CATTINI in goal made a string of good saves as well

Team of the Week

All Talk FC

The first of two shouts this week at Loughton as Championship outfit – All Talk put in a 12 star performance.

These boys are hitting some unreal form as of late and tonight they showed how lethal their finishing can be.

Callum MALTESE & Louis ABRAHAM were the star man in this one as they smashed home 5 & 4 goals respectively and just didn’t stop running.
Charlie DIBBLE got a hat trick and was immense also.
Skipper Arthur SAMUEL pulled off a last ditch save of the game in the last minute to ensure his side kept the clean sheet!

Well played to all the All Talk lads who were terrific tonight

Team of the Week

Valley Park FC

The award at Chigwell goes to Valley Park FC who put in a good performance grabbing a 3-1 win which after JOHN drawing means they jump to the top of the table on GD.
Tonight was actually the first time they have conceded this season in 4 games and once again Graham BELL was in fine form between the sticks and was unlucky to lose VPs clean sheet record this season.
Captain Peter TURNER was excellent, while Andy DOLLERY put in a good shift.
Carlton CHAMBERS, James FOGARTY and new signing Jermaine GRAVER scored a goal each with some neat finishes to wrap up the all important 3 points

Team of the Week

Joe Reynolds (Our GK is dead)

At Loughton this week we have to give this man a shout as he was superb tonight.
Joe REYNOLDS, the Our GK is dead captain put in a proper captains performance tonight inspired by Jimmy Greaves, All passing finishes.
REYNOLDS smashed in his first hat trick and defended really well, gave everything for his side tonight.
One goal after a neat one-two before slotting home into the bottom left, second was a JOTA-esque finish to make it 2-1 to his side, and REYNOLDS completed his hat trick with a finish near on identical to his first strike.

Take nothing away from the rest of the lads who were on form tonight but this lad REYNOLDS in particular deserves the shout out after this one

Team of the Week

All Talk FC

The shout at Loughton this week goes to All Talk FC who didn’t seem to be at their best initially; whilst dominating shots and possession they found themselves drawing 1-1 at half time.
One would be worried, if it wasn’t for a heroic performance by Rob SAMUEL who came out of goal in the second half to score a quick fire hat trick.
From there on, All Talk FC cruised to a comfortable 7-1 victory with goals from Charlie DIBBLE and Louis ABRAHAM

Team of the Week

FC Ming

The award at Chigwell this week goes to FC Ming who were on fire tonight!

Beating TG 7-2 isn’t an easy feat and Ming certainly had their shooting boots on tonight as the majority of their goals were absolute bangers!

Danny MARTIN, Chris WALLING and Robbie CARTER got 2 goals each while Ollie JONES-CHAPMAN got one.
Josh TAYLOR had a blinder in defence with stand in keeper Matt WUST pulling off some excellent saves.

If Ming can produce this form every week they should be challenging for the title come the end of the season

Team of the Week

AFC Cardinals

The award at Chigwell goes to AFC Cardinals who put on a masterclass performance tonight.

Skipper Neil DIXON smashed home a trademark strike while Mark DIXON kept in a clean sheet in one half and scored in the other!
Matthew HULL kept a clean sheet in the other half and was solid outfield in the first half.
Joe HARRIS smashed home two while Tom LYALL helped himself to a hat trick after another lively performance from the duo.

Pete FAWCETT was the midfield general tonight and kept his side ticking over nicely.

Excellent team performance from the Cardinals tonight

Team of the Week

Sorrry FC

Second mention at Loughton on a week in which a number of other teams also could of got a shout out, there were that many good performances tonight.

Sorrry FC have started this season with a much more consistent side and have made it 3 wins out of 3 after this one.

They were facing another team who have started the season superbly in All Talk FC.

Sorrry started the game quickly and scored a few goals early on to settle their nerves and ended up winning 5-2.

Skipper Tom HOADLEY smashed home two, one a superb strike first time volley after a worldy ball from Owen MCKELVEY.

MCKELVEY also scored himself while Mitch THOMPSON got one. Tom ELLIOT in goal was busy as expected as All Talk FC kept the pushing to get back into the game. Jack DENNING, James REVELL and Karl KNEBEL put in a shift tonight and also deserve a mention
