TEAM OF THE WEEK

Team of the Week

Oli Walters (Valley Park FC)

Oliver WALTERS has been on some unreal goalscoring form as of late and this week was no exception as he smashed in 2 more goals tonight, following up a hat trick from the week before making this 5 in two games!

Not just the goals he has scored but his all round play has been superb the last few weeks and he deserves the shout

Team of the Week

Chartlon Non-Athletico

The award this week at Loughton Tuesdays goes to Charlton Non-Athletico after a remarkable comeback tonight.

After being 2-0 down for 75% of the game they nicked what looked like a consolation goal after Joe REYNOLDS scored after some neat passing which started from a corner.

The equaliser was scored by Sam BEAMAN who smashed it right into the top bins from a fair distance out.

And the game which looked like it would end all square suddenly sent the Charlton lads into dreamland as Joe TINSLEY got on the end of a flick on by Aidan DOWNER, The opposition keeper came running out and TINSLEY took it round him to slot it home at an extremely acute angle on his weaker foot to win it in the last seconds.

Steve CARTER made some excellent saves in goal while Joshua BEECHAM & Luke HILL were solid throughout

Team of the Week

Hanging by a Fred

The award at Loughton Mondays this week goes to Hanging by a Fred who showed off some new signings who hit the ground running.

Harrison NAGLE & Michael ORRISS both smashed in 2 goals each, while Jamie PITTMAN scored one which he started himself playing out from the back with a neat one-two with ORRISS.

Jack MAPPLEY played well in goal and made some world class saves while skipper Charlie MAPPLEY set his team up perfectly tonight and put in a shift.

Excellent team performance from the lads

Team of the Week

MNF

The award at Chigwell Mondays goes to league leaders MNF who were in superb form tonight.

If not for Gio CATTINI in the Misfits goal the score line could of been a lot more.

Jack SAUNDERS smashed home a brace while Matt DAVIS got one.

A solid performance from the “white Van Dijk”  Harry WALKER & James CROSBY at the back.

Will DAVIS in goal with some good saves keeping a clean sheet

Team of the Week

Dr Were Good

The award this Tuesday at Loughton goes to Dr Were Good who were very good tonight.

A much improved performance against them from the new lads but Man of the match, Travis FOWLER could of been mistaken for Robbie tonight after his lethal finishing.

FOWLER smashed home a hat trick to ensure his side wrapped up an important 3 points as they hope to be promoted this season.

Grant BARRY-SACKS made some superb stops in goal.

Archie STOJIC, Tom DARCY, Brook GREENAWAY, Alfie MCPHEAT & Tommy MARCHANT were all excellent tonight as this was a quality team performance.

But MOTM has to go to: Travis FOWLER

Team of the Week

Santan FC

The award at Loughton Mondays goes to Santan FC who have migrated days very well.

They made this two wins out of two since joining

Brandon BYRNE and Callie CONNS doing a job in goal each while Sam SNELL & Charlie WEBB both put in a superb shift.

Quality team performance from the lads, now puts them second place.

All still to play for in this division and its going to be an exciting final 3 games.

Team of the Week

JOHN

This week the award at Chigwell Mondays goes to JOHN.

JOHN haven’t had much to shout about this season, rarely even getting half the same team out each week but have kept on going and tonight they played some good football.

Solid at the back for the most part, Volkan AKAR played some neat passes and made some key interceptions, blocks and tackles.

Tony LEACH helped cover and put in a good shift in the centre of the park

Paul BRETT & Reiss TISSON was a danger getting forward and played some key passes each.

Graham BELL covering in goal made a string of superb saves, Andy DOLLERYs energy and drive was a good outlet for JOHN.

Cole COSTELLO was the danger man as he scored both his sides goals with two powerful strikes

First win of the season for these lads so they will be hoping to kick on now and end on a high

Team of the Week

Gerry-Hat-Tricks

The award this week at Tuesdays Loughton goes to Gerry-Hat-Tricks who have been improving each week and look more and more confident.

They move the ball around well, and are they set up robust and tonight they got the all important 3 points and a clean sheet!

Nak AZEBAMWAN in goal made some world class saves and fully deserved the clean sheet after this one.

Brian BACK was instrumental in midfield and scored 2 of his sides goals tonight, while Louis HERBERT got one and was a constant threat with his movement and pace

Skipper Andy AVERKIOU & Steve TALBOT were solid at the back and were both unlucky not to score after getting a few shots in at goal each.

Rob & Phil HARVEY both put in a superb shift each and provided an outlet for their side as well as getting back and forward to ensure the clean sheet

All in all an excellent team performance and thoroughly deserve the shout this week

Team of the Week

Max Halcrow

This is a special mention this week to Max who sadly passed early hours Saturday morning

Max HALCROW was one of the most genuine, kind and down to earth lads.

He was one of your own, respectful and would help out anyone who needed it.

As a player, HALCROW scored some outrageous goals and was liked by everyone he played against, MAX was a baller.

I will miss seeing you on a Monday & Tuesday night and the conversations regarding all things football, as well as playing against you in those derby days on Saturdays.

Rest in peace MAX, and we will forever have fond memories of you as a player and a person mate

Team of the Week

Oh East London

The shout this week at Loughton Mondays goes to Oh East London who were excellent tonight.

What a game of football, end to end it was a brilliant game to watch for the neutral.

Skipper Mark WRIGHT had his team set up perfect tonight and was one of the stand outs in this game while also scoring twice with a couple of great strikes

Dan FISHER was brilliant as he also hit the back of the net twice, while Jamie O’HARA takes the MOTM shout as he was superb throughout while also scoring 4 times.

This win keeps up East London’s current good form while ending the vets unbeaten run this season, although they will argue they were missing some key players this week, take nothing away from these lads who were on fire tonight
