Media 10

The award at Loughton Monday this week goes to MEDIA 10 who despite having 2 key players out injured, managed to secure a 2-1 win over HIT & MISS with the winner coming just 5 minutes from time. MEDIA 10 are now ones to watch and serious promotion contenders in a tight Championship league where it seems anyone can beat anyone on their day. Despite being 1-0 down, MEDIA 10 never gave up and won through sheer stubborness and determination not to accept defeat. Strikers Albert Hellen and George Bird peppered the opponents goal, forcing saves and whacking the post and crossbar on several occasions. Eventually both Albert and George got on the score sheet to raptuous celebrations. Impressive to were the MEDIA 10 defence with Jack Lodge, Connor Lodge, Mark Mustafa and Marlon CeraMarle defending like South Africa did against England in the Rugby World Cup Final! Goalkeeper Steve Carter rounded off the gritty performance with some crucial saves at key moments of the game. Next game on Monday sees a Sky TV worthy tie of MEDIA 10 vs leaders Bayernneverlusen and this one will certainly not be for the faint-hearted.
