As the curtain came down on another exciting TFM season there was all to play for in both divisions.
First up and the Premiership game of the season between JOHN and Pop-City.
With Pop-City only needing to avoid defeat to retain their title, JOHN who looked like relegation candidates and one point in the season have recovered well and needed to win.
JOHN took the lead with an unfortunate own goal before Adam HOOPER equalised with a volleyed strike, However JOHN was back to their best and Man of the Match Dave EAYRES scored with a well placed strike to make it 2-1 before Michael DEVEREUX scored the all important third goal. Pop-City pulled one back to set up a tense finale but JOHN held on thanks to a solid performance at the back from Sean BONNER.

Cardinals have had a solid season throughout and finally got some silverware!
After finishing runners up the last few times they have been in the Championship they finally won it, however they did leave it till the last game and in a tight game narrowly beat a good ECC side.
The only goal to separate things had to be a moment of magic and there was nobody better to provide this than the captain Neil DIXON.
Matthew HULL played a lovely through ball and N.DIXON controlled it, it went in the air and N.DIXON then smashed it home on the volley to get the all important three points which clinched them the title.
Although it must be mentioned the whole team played magnificent.
