The award is shared this week, the first mention goes to Inter Bread who were superb in their 1-0 win against the early favourites tonight, Joe HINDMARSH made a string of quality saves for his side including a penalty save, however a goal from skipper Reiss TISSON helped Inter to all three points as well as their best start to a season in some time.
Gio CATTINI in goal for Inter also made some world class saves to keep a clean sheet which was the first time Inter have ever kept two clean sheets in a row after Jonathan HOPWOOD kept one the week before.
So well done to all the Inter lads and on their current run of form they look to be on course to get promoted, but it is still early doors and a lot to play for.
POP-CITY were in scintillating form tonight, even though they were missing a few regulars they won 4-0 in a proper team performance with 4 different goalscorers.
Callum BRAZIER, Danny MARTIN, Adam HOOPER and Grant OSBORN scoring the all important goals with some excellent finishing.
Jonathan HOPWOOD made some good saves to keep a well earned clean sheet, meanwhile Nick MASSA put in a shift but the star of the show was Chris WALLING who was unreal, put in a performance that had players and spectators left in awe at what a player he can be on his day.
A much needed win for Pop-City and once again it looks like it will be a very entertaining season!
