TEAM OF THE WEEK

Team of the Week

Mad Mark

The award this Super Sunday goes to Mad Mark as they put in a spirited performance against the in form Forest.
Although Matt WUST made some good saves and Daniel BORDMAN proving a handful at times with his driving runs Mad Mark had Mark DIXON in goal at what is proving to be his usual best!
Making a string of good saves DIXON deserved his clean sheet, meanwhile Nick MASSA put his side ahead and Tony LEACH scored the second to put the game out of Forests reach.

Team of the Week

Give us a chance

The award this week goes to Give us a chance who got their season off to a winning start.
The team have been playing some great stuff recently and kept another clean sheet as they won 2-0 tonight.
Adam CLANCEY and Joe CORPE getting the all important goals, they then followed up on the 17th with a 1-1 draw in which skipper Ben ASKEW scored.

Team of the Week

Notinherforest

The award this week goes to Notinherforest who played the best they have all season tonight.
Against the league champions they had to raise their game and they certainly did just that.
Forest started off slow as Gards went into a 2-0 lead, however Forest showed great resilience and bounced back scoring from 5 of the 7 strikes they had on goal, which were all great strikes as well.
Tommy DALTREY got two, Archie STOJIC, Nathan JACOBS and Owen ROBERTS with a thunderous volley into the top bins got the all important goals

Team of the Week

Lost Men, TG FC, Bayer Neverlosen & Bill HAMMOND

With the Prem title disappointingly for the neutral decided last week the last game of the season ended up less exciting.
However you try telling that to these two teams.
Los Pollos were unlucky as they finished runners up for the first time after a great season, however Lost Men in their first full season were unreal for most of it and ended up romping home with a nice points advantage.
Tonight it was 1st v 2nd and Lost Men finished on a high winning 5-3 in the end, However Bill HAMMOND whos in his 60s now made some worldy saves keeping Los Pollos in the game and was unlucky to lose the game.
HAMMOND ws one of the best players of the night and fully deserves the mention, however the all important goals for Lost Men coming from Mike DIEBELIUS, and two each from Ryan FRANKLIN and Joe MASSINGHAM.

Well done to all the Lost Men – Macaulay FELTHAM, Callum BRAZIER, Luke O’REILY, Joe MASSINGHAM, Ryan FRANKLIN, Sonny BALDWIN, Mike DIEBELIUS, Joe HINDMARSH, Tony AKBARI, Dan KELNER and Daniel KENT.

Next up was the Championship and once again the title was already wrapped up by TG, who although not playing as well in their most recent games were unplayable for the first 7 games which wrapped up the title for them, what a season TG had and were deserved league winners as they played with explosive pace when attacking and defended solidly for the most part.
Well done to Dan LOCKSTONE, Dan MARINO, Louis BLY, Bailee SHIELS, Archie BOSTOCK, Jamal ALLEN, Calum SKINNER and Scott HILL.

Last but not least Bayer Neverlosen who needed to win tonight to grab runners up and promotion to the Prem at the first time of asking.
Well done to skipper Joe HINDMARSH, Jack BELL, Eral CHOLI, Albert HELLEN, Jack ROBERTSON, Tre McDONNELL and Callum BRAZIER.

All starts again next week now!!

Team of the Week

Mad Mark

The award this week goes to Mad Mark who put in a solid shift tonight to get a massive three points and give Green FC their first defeat.

Mark DIXON in goal made a string of good saves and it was those saves which ended up ensuring his side  went away with the victory.

Green FC were unfortunate as their keeper gifted the Madmen two penalties which Reiss TISSON put away well to overturn the 1 goal deficit.

Team of the Week

Bayer Neverlosen, Give us a chance, Sam ALBISTON & Gio CATTINI

Big mention this week as there was some fantastic performances. First off new boys Give us a chance beat the league leaders and champions 3-2 in what was an end to end game. The whole team was quality tonight with the all important goals coming from Adam CLANCEY, Dan MOODY & Charlie REED. But a match winning penalty save from Joe GILL was just as impressive! Next up was Bayer Neverlosen who have been finding some form as of late. With a makeshift side due to a few of his boys being on holiday, Skipper Joe HINDMARSH pulled a team together who put in a great performance winning 6-0. HINDMARSH making some good saves in the process, Jack ROBERTSON and Eral CHOLI were quality at the back and Jack BELL lobbed the opposition keeper with a unreal half volley for one of his two goals. Jake CLARKE smashed home a hat trick with some good strikes while Tre McDONNELL got the other goal. Last but not least the two keepers from the last game of the night deserve a mention, in what was an end to end game it finished 0-0! Not many times that happens at TFM, but in Sam ALBISTON for Forest Casualwear and Gio CATTINI for Inter Bread both sets of sides found two very good goalkeepers refusing to be beaten tonight, so rightfully both these boys get a mention!

Team of the Week

Alec Mackay (Galacticos) & George Green (Green FC)

For the second sunday in a row the impressive George GREEN takes the accolade once more.

Again his energy and all round game was too much for his opposition who just found him difficult to handle.

This showed in the fact he smashed in 5 of his sides 7 goals and set up the other 2!

Alec MACKAY deserves a shout as even though he was on the losing side tonight it could of been a lot worse as he made some world class saves to ensure his side stayed in the game!

Team of the Week

Buckhurst Hill Over 21st

Hill with a full strength team out took an early lead from the shin of Jake “shin splints” CUTHBERT.
Some solid defending from Craig SHERRIN and Adam HOWELL kept it one nil at half time.
The second half Hill soaked up the pressure with lots of running from Paul ALLEN and James BRADLEY, then with a moment of magic Dan SUGARMAN “nuts” the defender to put Joel SAPIRO through on goal and he made no mistake.
With minutes to go Mark WORTH made an important save to his left, then put CUTHBERT through one on goal to put his usual one over the bar, luckily not the fence!

So to recap a great performance from Hill which gave TG their first defeat of the season!

Team of the Week

George Green (Green FC)

The award on the start of the new sunday season had to go to a member of the debut team.

Green FC looked like they had been playing in the league for a while as they won 4-2 against an experienced Blobby side.

The teamwork and build up play was great to watch and in particular George GREEN deserves the mention as he smashed home all 4 of his sides goals and was the star man for the Greens.

Its an early shout but this side certainly look like they can be title contenders on this evidence!

Team of the Week

Los Pollos

The award this week goes to Los Pollos who were in scintillating form in their 5-1 win tonight.

Paddy SHEEHY was one of the star men as he got a hat trick, meanwhile Robbie CARTER got two which took his tally to 5 goals in 2 days!

Take nothing away from the rest of the lads as they have really stepped up a gear this season in their pursuit for the title and with Gio CATTINI having one of those games the Los boys were proving hard to break down.

Can they keep pushing for that title though?!
